Zara Tindall: A Royal Equestrian
Daughter of Princess Anne, Cousin to Prince William
Zara Tindall (née Phillips) is the only daughter of Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, and Captain Mark Phillips. She is a first cousin to Prince William, Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Zara is married to former English rugby player Mike Tindall, and they have three children together.
Equestrian Career
Zara has followed in her mother's footsteps as an accomplished equestrian. She competed in eventing at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she won a silver medal as part of the British team. She also won individual gold at the 2006 World Equestrian Games and the 2005 European Championships.
Royal Duties
Despite being a member of the royal family, Zara does not have any official royal duties. She is a private citizen and does not receive public funds. She is involved in various charities and organizations, including the Spinal Injuries Association and the Alzheimer's Society.
Personal Life
Zara and Mike Tindall were married in 2011 at the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland. They have three children: Mia Grace (born 2014), Lena Elizabeth (born 2018), and Lucas Philip (born 2021). The Tindalls live in Gloucestershire, England.
